D2C Ecommerce Merchandiser

Specifically responsible for the trading of Wild & Wolf’s UK direct to consumer websites, as well as supporting our US websites. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving sales and profitability of allocated brands across all of Wild & Wolf’s UK direct-to-consumer websites.
  • Uploads products to into Shopify webstores for sale, ensuring listings are accurate and optimised at all times.
  • Optimises the presentation of products and the wider sites, both for searchability and conversion.
  • Sets, monitors and delivers goals to increase average order value, basket size, and visitor to customer conversion rate.
  • Conducts daily walk-throughs of top sellers, addressing any barriers to purchase.
  • Maintains product pricing within defined parameters, making recommendations to drive sales and profitability.
  • Suggests and creates bundles/multi-listings to upsell product and increase searchability and conversion.
  • Monitors slow-selling and clearance lines, recommending and implementing activities to drive sales and limit stock stagnation.
  • Strives to exceed individual and group commercial targets through use of initiative and attention to detail.
  • Lead the generation of creative and innovative campaigns that help realise the commercial goals for the D2C sites and drive greater acquisition and retention of customers.
  • Support the Head of Global Marketing with customer acquisition tactics and deliver best practice in SEM, Affiliates, Social, Re-targeting, & Display marketing channels to drive D2C sales growth. Manage any 3rd party partners engaged to help us execute this activity.
  • Ensure acquisition activity is carefully managed so as to maintain our relationships with B2B ecommerce retail partners and within profitability targets.
  • Sources and interprets data to support decision making and optimisation of offer
  • Provide the Head of Global Marketing with regular reports on activity ROI and site performance.
  • Supports fellow team members and actively looks for opportunities to improve process.
  • Monitors competitor websites and market trends, making recommendations to improve W&W’s proposition.
  • Upholds the positive reputation of Wild & Wolf by providing excellent and proactive customer service, ensuring delegated queries are fully completed by Community Engagement Coordinator and feeding back any trends or recommendations for improvement to Head of Global Marketing.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2+ year’s experience in a similar role
  • Experience in selling on Ebay and Amazon would be ideal
  • Experience of using Shopify would be ideal
  • Experience of using Google Analytics is required

JUNIOR SALES EXECUTIVE

Overall Job Purpose – What is this role here to do?

As a Junior Sales Executive your main responsibility will be to sell Wild & Wolf’s portfolio of premium design-led Games, Gift and Lifestyle products to a specific base of customers in the UK from our Bath office and develop new business focussing on specific growth brands.

Working to deliver agreed quarterly and annual targets, your time will be split between servicing an existing base of customers, re-activating dormant accounts, and generating new business with Independent retailers.

Day-to-day you will part of our Independents Sales Team located in our head office, which plays a vital role in generating revenue for the Company. Daily activities will include calling and e-mailing all customers to secure new orders whilst researching, prospecting and generating new business to increase sales and optimise the distribution network of our brands.

Throughout the year you will also have the opportunity to meet customers at national trade shows and exhibitions that you will attend to pre-sell seasonal collections, regional sales events and by invitation to our Showroom.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Selling Wild & Wolf collections to Independent retailers remotely by phone/e-mail, and face-to-face via Showroom and trade shows
  • Delivering sales to an agreed target, demonstrating detailed planning and target-setting by customer and by brand.
  • Account Management of your customer base and develop strong relationships with key retailers
  • Business development to generate new customers and optimise distribution network

  • You will establish analytics dashboard for key metrics across social media channels to understand performance and use insight to implement best practices and data-driven strategies.

Amazon Account Manager

As Amazon Account Manager your main responsibility will be to manage Wild & Wolf’s portfolio of premium design-led Gift and Lifestyle products on the Amazon EU platform, ensuring long term sales and profit growth.

Working closely with our Online Key Account Manager you will be responsible for every aspect of the Amazon account from new product onboarding to monitoring sales and product performance, handling POs to ensure on-time delivery, full stock management and forecasting, owning the catalog and optimising content to drive sales using data and analytics tools to shape marketing decisions.

Day-to-day you will be office based and a key member of our Sales Department generating revenue for the Company, effective communication across all internal departments will be key to your success.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Manage online brand experience on Amazon including: content management, A+ content, title/copy/product descriptions/keywords optimisation, marketing programs, product setup through Vendor Central.
  • Build strong relationships with Vendor Managers to successfully develop Wild & Wolf’s products and brand portfolio on Amazon.
  • Maintain positions in the buy box and understand the Brand Registry program.
  • Manage all administration related to management of the Amazon account, handling orders, working closely with Finance and Logistics to minimise Chargebacks and other platform specific KPIs.
  • Drive the business, implement and nurture profitability in line with key metrics to hit the required sales targets and desired profit margins.
  • Develop and communicate Amazon business results to the company and customer, identifying insights and actions to improve business performance. You will be the “expert” on Amazon and the ways of doing business acting as a reference point for the business reporting to our Senior Management Team.
  • Working closely with the Marketing team to provide leadership on SEO and support the development of digital marketing campaigns aligned to the commercial and brand strategy.
  • Analyse product trends and make recommendations based on data driven analysis, using data to make decisions on promotional activity.
  • Ensure in depth market knowledge and analysis, in order to establish pricing strategy and quantify the key opportunities for growth.

  • A minimum of 2 years working in an e-commerce role.
  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central is a must and knowledge in PPC management (Amazon Sponsored Product and AMS).
  • Strong working knowledge of e-commerce sites, digital advertising platforms, multi-channel retail and experience merchandising.
  • Analytical and strategic, understanding the strength of using facts for decisions.
  • Experience within Gift or a similar consumer product sector would be advantageous together with knowledge and understanding of the UK non-food retail industry.
